Hi folks,

it took a little more time than expected, but there are many improvements now (changes see below). Due to the delay, we will continue the phase 1, hence no presets yet. Please check out the new features and report any problems/ideas as soon as possible and hopefully we will soon get into the phase 2.

You should have received the links to the new version in your email. If not, let me know asap.

Cheers!

MXXX 6.01b2 changes:

Added 3 new processors: granularizer, filter, vocoder (+ few presets for demostration)
Modulator envelope & pitch modes now accept sidechain input and feedback too.
Categories (especially Flags) have been changed.
Added Dry parameter to the Delay processor.
Ratio - added several crossfade modes.
Delay extended to 10 seconds.
Phaser & flanger - frequency extended to 100Hz.
Phaser - range extended to 20Hz - 20kHz.
Phaser - extended number of delays to 100.
Changed Harmonizer selected key color.
Bandpass' Q range extended to 100.
Processor latency is now displayed in the title (if any).
Added predefined directories and drives in all directory trees.
Added range to MIDI note controllers.
Copy & paste from the main modular to modular processor.
Multiband peakmeters now occupy more space for better visibility.
Fix: When a modulated processor has been deleted, other parameter becomes modulated.
Fix: Smoothness didn't update in AutoDynamicEq unless analyzer/sonogram was enabled.
Fix: Math didn't enable the subparameters correctly.
Fix: Categories sometimes didn't save correctly or even broke the settings.

Actually I checked and this is my conclusion:
It works just fine in Cubase, which means Cubase is handling the keyboard input correctly while those 2 don't. So it would be more appropriate to ask them to fix this actually. The reason why it does this is probably simply because they are not used to plugins that actually use the keyboard...

Nice work man! I'm going on a 3 week vacation on tuesday next week so I'm uncertain how much time I will have but hopefully I can work on my crappy laptop and create some nice presets.

Cheers!

I spent a few hours with the beta 2, thank you so much for taking into account some of the suggestions, the higher filter Q works great and the phaser is fantastic now ! Very cool !

I have not had time to really get into the granular and vocoder (those are complex modules), first impressions are good, i'm impressed you could add those in a just a few weeks.

I still need to figure out a few things, but i'm starting to think i may sell my soundtoys and u-he bundles, especially since most processors in MXXX have no latency, it's better suited to what i need.
Well, thanks again, i'm off to experiment with the granulator and vocoder... it's going to be an interesting night.

Smile

The preset example with the vocoder is interesting, although the vocoder seems to eat up a lot of cpu.
I'm not used to this effect, Are there some other basic vocoder configurations, what types of signals are best to use as modulator ?
Thanks.

So you know, I was able to confirm that the x64 version of this worked for me in Bidule x64 with none of the problems of the earlier version.
