I should have thought of Mad variations in my shotgun blender approach. The Modness and MadMod suggestions are nice. I must admit that I thought of a few that are just too good to post, and believe it or not, many that were too bad and/or NSFW. Oh, look out, here comes more: MODel, MODel T-Pain, superMODel, uberMODel, goneMOD, StarkRavingMOD, Pitch-n-Catch (yikes)... okay, I'll stop.

yeah, i do like the name pitch funk also, but you kow what? i don't give a shit for the name, as long as the plugin amazes me, which can only happen with audio examples at least, not to speak for being able to finally demo it...
so i'd say, give dave a bit time to put things in the dry and then we'll see/hear... at least _then_ we could speculate for a new name, if there is still a need for one at all...
based on his other algorithms, i dare to trust him...
