It's been a very, VERY long time since I have been here. Anyway I have been hard at it. Yep...I am the OP of the P.O.G. thread.
www.reverbnation.com/payden That is all me. energyXT Addictive Drums Poulin Legion Amp Sim keFIR_v1 Cab Sim Multiple Fredman Impulses Kjaerhus Audio Suite 4Front Bass Guitar VSTi Charvel Guitars Electri-Q (poshifopit) George Yohng's W1 Limiter aaaaand a few other things that I am too lazy to dig up (took off work sick today) I am seeking a mix/master addict to help me out. ps: If you knew what mic I use you would fall straight out of your chair. I have learned over the years that mic quality doesn't really make much of a difference when you have a decent VST arsenal. I love Kjaerhus's Classic stuff. Could someone with a good ear please give one of my songs a quick listen? I would very much appreciate it. I just need a bit of input on how to improve my mixes. If not that's cool, I will check back later. Thanks regardless! |

it sounds great! you actually are a good singer, too.
i'd like to hear some 'synyster gates' or 'mick mars' type of guitar solos in there, though. maybe even just a couple of high, 'pig squeals' or 'pinch harmonics' here and there... but yeah; the mixes/singing sound really good. cool lyrics, too... |

I have to second mrblitz here. The singing sits well and concise, it's good!
And I have to diappoint you: Can't say something bad about the mix at all. Well done. And very good crafted guitars. |

Thanks guys that means a lot. I have been slaving over the mixing so much that I feared things were a mess. I guess not! Keep on rockin! |

Put up a couple new tunes (demos). Still the same software chain. When I'm Gone and Can't See the Light. I know Can't See the Light doesn't fit. Making it for my brother and will take it down one day. Still needs a lot of work.
Re-mixed the others. I had to change my name from 27 to Payden. Give them a listen...and let's hook up fan wise if you have a Reverbnation page? www.reverbnation.com/payden |
