EQuick .... Cheers Dennis Dennis, how does EQuick compare with EQuality (cleaner interface aside)? I used EQuality as my go-to EQ before I got EQuick (it was free for EQuality users) because I liked how fast and intuitive I can work with it but EQuick takes these strenghts even further imo. It usually takes just a few seconds to fix problems with it And, well, it looks f**king awesome Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Life can take some shitty turns sometimes. |

I got the free upgrade and asked David for a quick rundown of the differences, which you've echoed. But I didn't install it yet, both due to lack of time (been forced out of the music loop for a while) and also figured, while it does look very sexy, EQuality is no slouch in that department; I wanted to keep the analogue mode; and wtf am I going to do with 24 bands? Thanks again though |

I very rarely use more than 3 bands for mixing stuff but the additional bands can sometimes be useful for sound design stuff (Altering the volume of harmonics etc.) Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. Yeah, but I've demoed it so many times that I couldn't imagine it not being in my VST folder I have every intention of buying it when I can. And I don't use it in songs I intend to complete, but I do save patches for the inevitible day. ---- ![]() |
