in the past I have built up a lot of other peoples stripboard based projects that they've posted on the net without actually building them up first, I never got why they did this but I have done my own stripboard layout blog and before I post anything on it I build it and make sure it works first.
it's not all Audio related but so far most of it is. and tomorrow I will be building up a layout to a decent headphone amplifier I designed - most people build up ChuMoys design but that thing just does not cut it for me so I did my own, so hopefully that will be up in the next few days there's also a stun gun design on there which you could use on the next person who does a null test to zap some sense into him! if you build any of these up, post pictures, cause I am shit at making decent enclosures for things here http://paulinthelab.blogspot.co.uk/ |

Also, that is an amazing workshop you have put together in the (cold looking) shed. the shed is just the junk place where everything people give me to salvage from gets dumped till I can be bothered to salvage parts, all the "business" stuff is in my nice warm house haha |

Is that setup for your job or just a serious obsession ... I mean 'hobby' all 3 really, electronics is my life, job, obsession so on. I'm trying to do a stripboard a week for the blogs sake, but usually my hardcore designs go on PCBs cause there aren't stripboards big enough haha it's just fun to do cool little designs every now and then |

Cool, some things there I'd definitely like to build one day. Thanks.
Your sheds security looks pretty hardcore. You should have that board spring loaded, Indiana Jones style... ---- ()_() (O.o) (")(") |

@garyG - I've thought about much worse, I almost electrified it with a 10,000 volt LCD inverter but I decided against it.
anyway - I finally built up the headphone amplifier for my iPod and it's ace - it makes everything sound clear, transparent, warm, crystallized, smooth and crisp, nah, that's bullshit, but it Does take a quiet signal and makes it into a louder signal and that's what we want an amplifier to do! + there's no use of wideband, high speed - burr brown op-amps in it so it's a lot cheaper and louder! http://paulinthelab.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/headphone-amplifi er-veroboard.html |
