A couple of things that might be of interest.
1 The double Undo/Redo There's a "Global undo" (in the Global panel up top) for parameter changes, and a "Selection undo" (in the Tools panel) for - yup - selections. This is copied from the Iris Help PDF: Quote: The Global panel's undo/redo buttons apply to Iris's parameters but not to selections made in the sample area. For full undo/redo of selection variations made with your sample, you can use the Selection Undo/Redo arrows located at the bottom of the Tools panel.
This separate set of Undo/Redo arrows for your selections is to allow for easier tweaking of your selection information without unwinding the other sound parameters in Iris that will also shape the sound. 2 Copying sample, selection, or parameter This is not explained very well in the Help, which only vaguely says that you can right-click (PC) command-click (Mac) to copy/paste between controls, but do this on a sample in the waveform window and it will display a menu with four copy/paste options (and some other goodies): Copy Sample Copy Sample and Selection Copy Parameters Copy All Very handy. I got it from the Groove3 tutorial by Russ Hughes (just to give due credit). BTW, I think it's all or nothing when copying the selection. If anyone has found a way to copy only a discrete bit of the selection, please let me know. Cheers, Trahast ---- Sigs are for siggies |

Thank you thank you Yes, sorry, it's patchpool.de indeed! I just took that mistake you understood. Anyway, I'm actually playing/recording with your beautiful new patches, and I say it to remark how u.s.e.f.u.l they are (not only beautiful), that is the most important thing, isn't it? |

Absolutely and thank you again for the great feedback, Matteo, that makes it all even more worthwhile I just mentioned the domain-thing for public interest reasons, after all it would be cool for me to get hold of that domain... |

Don't you think it's quite peculiar that iZotope doesn't posts any demo of "Glass" and "Wood" libs yet? I would love to hear their musical point of view with some tracks. All I can say (again) is that these libs are quite weird-oriented, but all samples are good to use. |

Hi Simon - I've been trolling this string for a while. I bought Iris in time before the price went up (good choice) but I'm just getting into it now. About your annual subscription: I pay once and I'm good for a year... and it will not automatically charge again, without my permission. Correct? Let me know and you'll make another sale. (I hope it is *not* an automated renewal) ---- http://soundcloud.com/robertdorschel also check out "Ditty-A-Day 2012"! http://dittyaday2012.wordpress.com/ |

I'll ask the opposite question--can I lock in a perpetual auto-renew at my initial price |
