Hi just bought a Roland Alpha Juno(delivered tommorow)
I've downloaded and already installed these to try it with http://www.cykong.com/CubaseSX/SXpanels.htm#Roland MKS-50 Juno + PG-300 http://www.ctrlr.org/page.php?p=ddb (PG 300) but found a commercial one here http://www.vst-control.de/MKS-50v.html I've been emailing him for about a week, no response - so I bought it using the site shop thinking it may be sent out automatically via email, but it's done manualy I think, anyone got any experience of vst-control.de? Otherwise if it doesn't come through I'll put in a Paypal dispute and get my money back and use the freeware ones instead(well ones a Cubase device panel, never used one before) Any thoughts...? good for you 20eu seems a fair price too. and did you see the people making pg200 clones for the jx3p series? i asked them if they envisaged cloning the pg300, but got no reply. am wondering what the novation remote is like in comparison to a software editor. ( i had a alpha with a pg300 years ago, so i sort of know what you end up with) |

( i had a alpha with a pg300 years ago, so i sort of know what you end up with) That VST-Control.de VST editor for the Alpha Juno is really good, when you browse presets using the VST the VST Gui parameters(synth settings) change automatically, and when you reboot a Cubase project the settings are exactly where you left them, I designed/changed 4 presets and saved the Cubase projects as "Juno Test 1" to "Juno Test 4", the settings for each project where exactly where I left them, awesome.... I heard most people like to use the Behringer BCR200 with a PG300/Alpha Juno mapping that can be downloaded from somewhere... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u18fDN4VHz0 Don't quote me, I think the BCR200 gets plugged straight to the Alpha Juno much like the PG-300... However I'm going to try mapping the VST-Control.de JU-1 VST editor to my Novation Remote Zero SL MkII, this is my next thing to do, may do it tonight, I'll post back how I got on... |
