Greetings; This is a little offbeat, but some people may find it worthwhile.

Zinio (link below) sells digital issues of a couple music mags, including Future Music -- the kicker is that for the last 5 or 6 FM issues, you can download the DVD content; loops, demos, workshops, etc.

I pay over CDN$20 for a hardcopy issue of FM here in Toronto, but on Zinio, the price is $5 and change. Digital versions are available in virtually every format; IOS, Android, Rim and PC (Win7), etc.

Zinio also sells Computer Music Magzine, but there's no download available of CM DVD content -- i just found that Music Tech is available on Zinio, but it doesn't look like the DVD content is available for download.

Apparently FM is adding older issues to the Vault, where downloadable content can be obtained, so FM download content may go back further down the road.

Here's the zinio link, to the page containing FM:

(http://ca.zinio.com/browse/publications/index.jsp?prnt=cat1 960014&productId=500341382&categoryId=cat1960070)

Regards
Glenn

PS: I just found a link for a discussion of Zinio in a different KVR forum -- apparently CM digital edition will eventually have download capability for DVD content -- see http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/printview.php?t=342963&start=0

Cost: $10 Usually $50.

How do you get the deal? When I log into my account, it's still at regular price...

OK. Here I go again. If you are a subscriber to the AAS newsletter, there is a special affiliate deal with FXpansion in the most recent email newsletter for 1/3 off FXpansion's Tremor.

The link clicks right through to the bargain on the FXpansion site: Tremor- $99.

Cheers

Here we go again...
This is NOT the big version of Samplitude!!!
It's Magix' consumer rip-off which was formerly called Magix Music Studio. It's not exactly rubbish, as a starter I used it myself for 3 or 4 years. But still - don't buy this just because you thing it's the big Samplitude - it's NOT.
It's just intelligent product naming to collect $$$ from dumb people.

If you're in the market for studio monitors, Musicians Friend has KRK Rokit 8's in "Ferarri Grey" for $199 each, $50 bucks less than the same monitor with the yellow cones. In addition, you can apply the Freedom15 coupon code to get 15% of each. Coupon wasnt working online, but called in and spoke to a rep to get the discount. Total came to $338 for the pair incl. shipping.

Not too shabby

Also at the SamplerZone store they're selling Dan Dean Solo Strings Advanced for $50. The cool thing about this library is that besides solo instruments you can easily create a chamber string orchestra for those times when a full string orchestra is too much and you need something lighter.
