Judging by that last sentence, I think there is a severe lack of understanding, but not on my part. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

This forum is a complete joke tbh, I know I don't help matters, but there are plenty of others equally as bad, which makes it all the worst. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

Now you come back and look what happens to this one. |

Possible but opposing to others i try to focus on the advantages of Saurus and not the other way around which is a big difference. Ingo In the context of people complaining about Diva being mentioned in a non-Diva thread, there is no difference And you know full well it is human nature that if you bring it up it will become part of the discussion. It is disingenuous of you to claim innocence in the matter. |

You make out like i'm constantly the bad guy in all this, but do you seem me appearing in DIVA threads advertising another synth ? In fact have I ever done that once ? Nope. So I guess the blame doesn't all lie at my door now does it. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

So I guess the blame doesn't all lie at my door now does it. As soon as you started posting in this thread the tone of it changed. You get so personal and attack like it is some terrible affront. This is not a forum about war crimes or human rights abuses. It is just synths dude. I don't care if you want to show up in Diva threads. This is the instruments forum... nobody owns it. If you show up in the u-he forum then that is different, but this is where instruments are discussed. It is by nature gonna be a bit messy, with lots of differing views and opinions, some heated discussions, and so on. So yeah, show up in a Diva thread, but do so cause you want to talk about synths, not cause you want to slag on someone or get revenge for some perceived slight. Post audio of how you think Diva could sound better, or critique a feature or lack of. Discuss what you like about another synth. That is the point of the whole thing! |

Turn up in a DIVA thread and advertise Saurus ! lol I bet that would go down well.
I've had more than enough opportunity to do so in the past, but I won't do it. It's just not the morally correct thing to do. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

ariston wrote: LeVzi wrote: Well if you push any synth, especially with LFO's with audio rate speeds, you can make anything sound harsh. I disagree strongly with this. I've got about four synths in my plugin folder that can do the kind of audio rate modulation you mention here - without harshness. I'd name them, but you'd probably start to rant again, so I'll keep it on topic. @Examigan: I dunno, that site really looks dodgy to me. Is M-Audio distributing Minimonsta in the US? And it looks like they're selling a CD, not a download. Yeah I know what you mean, so if I do get it, I might just buy it from Sweetwater ($149) or some other well known place. Or if someone sells it on here in the Market Place for a good price. |
