He everyone. I'm kindof confused about the functions of uhbik-a.
What settings would you use to get the longest possible decay? Thanks! Ben |

Reverb set more to late
direct mode (operation) decay to max density to max... something like this? |

The best source is Howard's manual for the Uhbiks, it does so much more than point at knobs and label them Also - Uhbik-A is really beautifully understated and, just to generalize, uses less effect sound to accomplish the goal of adding spatial cues to a sound. Consequently the big spacey stuff isn't always as in-your-face. The bass/treble controls impact this a fair amount, though. They're shelving filters inside the regenerative feedback of the verb, so they can alter decay time quite a bit. (shameless plug - I have free Uhbik presets linked in my sig, the Uhbik-A stuff is sorted by, maybe not exactly decay but size.) |
