SyncerSoft has released Electro Bass Landscapes, a free "electro bass" ROM synthesizer plug-in for Windows.
Electro Bass Landscapes is designed for playing different musical compositions of any genre. It is also intended for creating some musical effects in cinema and play scoring, in studio. It's ideal for use in dance, techno, dubstep, electronica, drum 'n' bass, big beat, dub, reggae and all other styles. Electro Bass Landscapes includes a 180MB library of over 50 sounds driven by a friendly internal librarian. The LFO modulation section was designed specially for the Dubstep genre but can be used in other styles too of course.
Electro Bass Landscapes is free and is available for Windows as a VST instrument plug-in. download (FREE VSTi) |

Thanks for Babylon Toolbar and 2 Your Face malware, too. That was sarcasm, of course. On the other hand, one can install it, and then immediately uninstall the malware, no harm done, especially if you never trust anybody and install programs in a VirtualBox, as I do. The bass VSTi sounds very good. Pretty good choice of basses. But it would be really nice of you if we got a warning about the malware that installs *silently* before we downloaded and installed your VSTi, though. I'm sure people would understand. Thank you! |

installing babylon without asking is poor form - but I don't think I'd class babylon as 'malware' (http://www.babylon.com/) - more just yet another annoying and pointless browser add-on. More to the point Cnet themselves are just as bad for surreptitiously pushing it out - guess in tough times people are looking for a little extra revenue? at least it's no a silent install - when babylon's installer comes up I just click the 'cancel' option to stop it |

I think I'll wait until they remove the malware. I don't mind uninstalling a browser plugin, but I don't want to deal with the other. ---- This space has been unintentionally left blank. |

I didn't mean to say it does, just it is hilarious to me to hear it is good for reggae but comes bundled with commercial software called 'Babylon' |

Babylon - part of the culture of reggae, it does not interfere with rasta, it just is there |

Well Babylon is where the Israelites were held in bondage, and Rastas call modern society Babylon, which holds us all in bondage. So kind of a bad name for a corporation or product from a Rasta's perspective. I and I no dig that one, mon |

You don't have to install the malware at all, just click "no" when the prompt comes up, the synth will be installed nevertheless. |
