Hello all, could anyone tell me how to integrate the play, record, stop, ff, rw, loop buttons on the keyboard so they integrate with the transport bar in Cubase 6? I'm getting the midi channel activity indicator lighting up from the keyboard buttons, but that's it.

Not sure, but maybe try hovering the mouse over a button on the transport to give it focus, and then pressing whatever button on the oxygen to assign it. |

I seem to recall you need to download a bit of software from M-Audio to get it working, although I never managed to in Cubase 4. |

Yes I've tried the midi learn function with the mouse, no good with the play functions, I'll check on the M Audio site.

Ok, I've just installed the Direct link software from the M Audio website, good news and bad, ..... after I install the direct link, I have to go into 'Device Set Up' and set Midi input and Output to the Oxygen 49, and when I apply and ok, I can operate all Cubase record, play, stop parameters etc from the keyboard! Brilliant! But I'm not getting any sound from my soft synths now, at all! lol! As soon as I disconnect the Oxygen 49 from the Midi input and output settings, I get my sounds back but lose my play, record and stop from the keyboard again! lol! It's never straight forward is it!
Any solutions anyone? Cheers. ---- http://soundcloud.com/origin-1 J.S.Bach.(1685 - 1750). The greatest achievement in the history of music! |

Sorted! In the midi Input field I've selected 'All midi inputs' ... I now get the best of both worlds!
Hope this may be of help to someone else in the future! ---- http://soundcloud.com/origin-1 J.S.Bach.(1685 - 1750). The greatest achievement in the history of music! |
