Great news

Good to see friendly policies regarding previous releases. Exploring
future joint ventures is more fun, and more rewarding than the alternatives.

A future Magix release with an updated U-he synth/fx bundle, would be a
very tempting product. Cakewalk has bundled synths/fx, for years, so its a proven way to market things.

I hadn't checked this thread since I wasn't that much involved with u-He stuff so far (... might be changing now ..hehe).

I wasn't aware that it's Sascha himself who joined u-He. I'm a big fan of his work and therefore I was on Samplitude for some time. So, now i'm looking forward what might be coming here at u-He.

BTW: what will be happening to vandal? Still no download version for MAC AFAI can see.

Maybe we'll see a vintage style compressor ala Diva (digital tube recreation?). Something along the lines of UAD quality or better without the $XXXX dongle. I've heard nothing but good stuff about his dfp plugins. I'm sure whatever it is, it's going to be pretty cool.

In contrast I'm hardly aware of Magix stuff. I take people's word when they say Sascha does good stuff, but wanted to check Vandal out after someone posted an interview with him in the other thread. I could rant a bit about amp sims overcooking everything but that's exactly what I wasn't getting with Vandal, so - very impressive. Some of the kinds of things Sascha does have been requested by users forever, I really trust u-he both to listen to these requests but also not take shortcuts to get there, and have no doubt good things are in store.

I heard about Sascha long ago, from the beginning, when he was doing the Fishfillets and Urs ported them to the Macintosh. I always admired his work, namely what he did at Magix. Based on what U-He already accomplished, and with such skillfull guy working with the team, I think we can expect great things. Sorry to Magix, but their recent moves screwed a lot of people (me included).
Congratulations U-He for such a good move.

Great to hear that Sascha's talents are coming to UHe. I've been using his processors like endorphin and dominion for a long time and am quite a fan of Vandal and the rest of his recent work so the possibilities look very promising.

We have loads of plans, really.

It won't be visible in a week or two, but there is some amazing stuff that we began earlier this year and which will benefit from Sascha a lot.
