What pedal do I need!?

Alright I got midi controller, it has a midi through. Also have an korg sp-100 and korg x50.
Anyway I use omnisphere a lot, basicly 80% of the sound I use with my band are from omnisphere which means that are first album will be recorded with me playing all the sounds through omnisphere, but here's the catch;

Am going to be connected to the laptop through midi at all times because I don't have the money right now to buy an music station/keyboard like kurzweil PC3 so what I need is a pedal that would allow me to change the sounds in the library I set up.
I can't in the middle of recording or live bend the time and space continuum and go over to my pc and change to next sound everytime (not saying it wouldn't be cool if I could) xD, anyway I need something that would allow me to change the effects/sounds with one touch -well a pedal.

The library in omnisphere is already prepared and aranged, that is for each song the sounds are in order as the song goes, preferable I would like a pedal that would also allow me to go BACK AND FORTH if possible, let's say
the pedal A; would Go forward through sounds
And pedal B; backwards.

Need help as soon as possible, the recording are in one month and the lives right after that! Which means that the pre-preparation (practice) before the recording will start in one week and I need a pedal that would do the things I've listed above, also have in mind that I'd prefer that its not really expensive, but if there isn't an option of getting something not too expensive I'll not have a choice. Smile Also I did not know that I'd use only omnisphere sounds, it's kind of the last moment thingy, coz the songs just got composed.

Also willing to dump YouTube links when the album is done if anyone is interested, also the album will be sold in stores and available to be ordered at stored worldwide Smile

Hey there,

I never fiddled around with Omnisphere, but from what I get in your post, what you need is pretty simple.

You can go and buy one of those foot controllers (either midi and using your keyboard or usb), but then the simplest solution I can think of is using a regular usb keyboard or joystick and then a "Input to MIDI" conversor in the OS (the keyboard can be easily modded to be a footswitch, by removing some keys and so on).

Another solution is using something via WiFi with a mobile device (thinking iPod/iPhone/iPad) and an app (TouchOSC), which would be the preferred by me, was I on your situation (and of course if you already had the mobile device).

I have an iPhone but trust me that's not a solutions because am playing pretty complex stuff, big fat chord with both hands etc. I need a footswich, but I don't know which one is the most sutable for my situation.

Sounds again like a typical job for the Behringer FCB-1010. Foot-controlled program changes, that should work. Daisy-chained on regular 5-pole DIN with your master keyboard ofcourse Wink

I couldn't find the one you wrote down because it's discontinued, but I found a similar one Roland FS300 and 450 euros! Ouch!!
But I also spotted the Boss FS6, would that work if I connect it into my Korg X50 because I have pedal and switch jacks (assignable) because that way i'd you the X50 as midi controller and even better I could actually run some of the sounds from there too! =/ I hope that's not my only solution coz it's expensive as hell, isn't there anything that runs through midi with just 2pedals I don't so many Sad

No, that can't be right. I think there is a typo.
Here's the one I meant

This pedal seems not only to work with Line6 gear/amps.
Fully programmable, USB jack for power and to control softsynths & software.

I think you're confusing the FCB1010 with the Death Star ... Wink
