Some people are crazy (no offense).
If the developer, who knows exactly what's going on "under the hood" of his plugin compressor, told you that there is no 2nd harmonic, why insist ? By the way that "color" is part of the sound of his design, so it would make no sense to remove it. Just sayin'. |

Ok what would happen if this colour was removed? If it wasn't there, then "Density" would not be "Density" it would be something else. ? |

Well I just don't think colouration is always a good idea on the 2 Bus.
If your using soft synths then it's nice, but with analog synths, not always nice. It is software, where colouration can be optional, unlike anlaog units |

Will the 2nd order harmonic distortion be made optional in MKIII?

Very much looking forward to this update. Density II is my go to compressor for the drum bus. Suspect I will use it for additional applications based on Bootsie's description of the changes. |

I guess this is the distortion I was hearing after all... |

Wow looking forward to trying this one. DensitymkII is already an excellent compressor and am looking forward to hearing the improvements!
Will Density mkIII use the same GUI as the mkII version? |

I love Density (among many of Bootsies plugs). I sincerely hope they will play nice on my new 64 bit puter. |
