Yes, both Au and VST.

64-bit AAX late in the year...

Just finish what you have to finish and then release it. Many Mac-users running Logic in 64-Bit mode won't buy 32-Bit Plugs anyway because Logic's bridge is the most gigantic PITA in the entire universe. And pleaaaaaase give us some updated 64-Bit Aether before you release anything else, that really is very important.

I vote Plan B, unless somehow the new product launch will be flawless and yall won't have to put off all other work for support and hot fixes.

And please release 32/64 bit in 1 universal binary. Some dev idea of separate binaries just make the whole transition absolutely unbearable (stuck w 32bit for computability w other host despite having 64bit ver). Aether and Breeze is over all my projects, have mercy We're not worthy....

That won't happen. Sorry. We do not see PPC being resurrected any time soon. PPC is already dead for the last three Mac OSs now. Making our products run quickly on PPC is not a trivial task. We had better spend efforts optimizing for new CPU platforms and instruction sets.

edit: oh, I think I misread you. I thought you meant: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_binary

No not PPC (Aether was never available for PPC right?), just asking for 32bit/64bit as combined binary. My bad on terminology.

Plan C: WTF is it?

Sorry, I actually appreciate not being teased, but you kind of already have. Given that, could you at least tell us the class of effect, assuming that's what it is? That can be very helpful for someone sitting on the fence about other products if they don't mind waiting for the release of a possible alternative.

Thanks!

Thanks for the update,

I was wondering what was going on with these *two mystery products*!

Not trying to tease... Just trying to answer a question posed by a customer, and use the opportunity to get community feedback on a tough choice we have to make b/c we sincerely care what our customers think.

The first new product is an evolutionary step from some of our existing technologies and products. It is in the reverb/spatial-processor family...

...don't worry no Black Goo was used in the making of this product, it will not mutate into any kind of Xenomorph, we promise. http://www.projectprometheus.com/

...though, it is quite adaptable... (ok, that part IS teasing a little bit, I admit...) Very Happy

Hmmmm....Galbanum is known for audio samples/waveforms and reverbs, so I'm guessing that it will be some sort of convolution reverb.

No, I know you weren't teasing so much recently, but this plus the newsletter announcement months ago are why I said "kind of." Thanks for letting us know the class though. That will actually make me wait some on a purchase I was considering. Now, also knowing the price range would help even more, like maybe where it fits in relation to your other products.

Oh, and please go easy with any Prometheus spoilers. I got in on some of the early chatter and trailers, and I'm even on the Weyland Industries mailing list. I decided that even two months ago, I already knew more than I wanted to, though.

Valhalla...wanted to be the first. Sorry another reverb thread and couldn't resist, seems to be the trend!

@Glabanum Looking forward to what you are going to bring to the collection. Aether is a great reverb so anything to that qulaity (may I say lower CPU consumption) will be great.

I'm going for somekinda reverb excelling lexicons algorithms .... hmmm and a softsynth Smile

Look forward to seeing.hearing.playing them.
