win7,32bits If I understood right, the problem is with the layout...You should make the main parameters panel wider :
The knobs should not even be of different sizes, it's a bug in the layout engine. Additionally it's been a surprisingly difficult problem to make the main parameters panel be wider by default on first run. (And I haven't dedicated too much energy to solve that as the user can resize the panel anyway...Unfortunately it might not be the obvious first thing to do for the user...) If your screen width doesn't allow resizing the main parameters wider, you can try hiding the parameter value texts : ![]() |

Hi Xenakios.
For some reason i can't make it work in my system. When long time ago i could open it without problem (an older beta) I just download, extract the folder to anywhere, press the Hourglass exe, but nothing happens Windows XP Home 32 bits SP2 Quad Core AMD3 Phenom II 3.2Ghz. Do you know why or if i need to put the dll in somewhere? Have a good day |

(HourGlass.ini which is somewhere in the bowels of the system like C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Xenakios) If you are able to find the ini-file, delete it and try again. If the previous version you have used is some really old version, it's quite likely the newer versions no longer work with the old ini-file. In theory these kinds of problems should be easy to avoid, but in practice it tends to be a bit complicated. There is no longer a dependency on the Visual Studio runtime, HourGlass comes with that. (The runtime doesn't need to be installed.) |

Anyway i was telling to you that i used the old version in another formatted system, before i changed my whole equip 6 months ago or more, not in this one, so it was really weird. Time to test this beast. Thanks. At last a new nice icon |

How to delete an envelope point? I tried everything, second buttons, middle, control, etc. But i can't delete them. EDIT: Oh, nothing nothing. Control + Left Click. Have a good day You might want to open the View->Help panel so you can see some contextual help texts when you move the mouse around various parts in the app. Unfortunately these texts don't cover everything in HourGlass (yet) but they would have told you the Control+Click thing for the envelope points though. |
