Of course. The old limitations don't apply anymore, which is also what makes a clean-cut update tempting.
Any chance of your supersaw research being added too? Wink

No promises... but we do have an idea for using it Smile

Hey Urs,

will it possible to load samples (WAV/Aiff) directly in Zebra 3?

That's the plan. Not sure yet if and how much editing...

There won't be any direct sample playback, but I'm pretty sure that the oscillator waveforms will support higher resolution and "one shot" modes for some extra fun.

We've already had this discussion. Ace is Ace and Zebra is Zebra. Please don't cross contaminate the GUIs.

That's one of the angles we're looking at.

I am developing a generative module body that's customisable in various parameters (corner radius, surface finish, gradients, shadows etc.). Based on such approach it should be possible to do a proper redesign without fear for the effort. The thing that held me back most in the past was the amount of work, and the tedious workflow with Photoshop and other software. Taking those out of the equation hopefully leads to much better design.

We'll see where it goes Smile

My only wish for Zebra would be to somehow better organize the patch library.

It'd also be nice to auto-install skins. Reaper does this really well, just download a skin .zip and drag and drop onto the daw window. It installs and sets it as the default.

Because I know you don't have anything else to do. Wink

Me too, they're just too chunky for Zebra, which is more about minute details.

I DO like the colour coded modules in that picture, though. No fear of things looking like toys because basically they ARE toys* - music is something you play after all Very Happy
