Since you are giving it away free, I'm not too worried about what copy protection--just curious.

Anyway, If it's a promo thing the can do what ever they like and nobody should show any disrespect regarding C/P or anything else (registration for example) as far as I am concerned. They are giving away their stuff and we should be thankful regardless. Wrong. Sure, they can do what they like, but doesnt mean i should be thankful or give them respect for making a FREE product use any protection....its FREE...! What I can't understand is why someone with no interest in a product writes on a forum to tell people that he has no interest in the subject of the thread! Too much time on your hands?  |

Kevin Hello Kevin, first of all thanks for inviting us to this great deal. I'd like to know, if you don't use eLicenser for this product, will you use any other way of protection for it? So my inquiry would rather be: If you use any kind of protection, could you please also offer eLicenser as an option for your fellow Arturia users? I already have several of your products, so I already have an elicenser, and I actually prefer to use a dongle instead of - not being able to activate my software by C/R, because of reached limit of activations (IK Multimedia), - company is gone or - discontinued the product and offers no more activations (happened with an old Sony Vegas). Wow, this is an awesome giveaway. Hard to imagine why people are speculating the worst and questioning Arturia's motives. And then all the discussion of copy protection. Dang.
I'll line up for the Minimoog V original, happily register, and use whatever copy protection Arturia chooses to put in place. This is a great synth that has been used again and again in commercial productions. Thanks Arturia! |
