I read up a while ago that you could take your samples and arrange them into an automap with http://carrieres.free.fr/sfz.htm to make an sfz file. I tried cakewalk's sfz player with no real success.
I tried to ignore it and went on to using extreme sample converter's demo to see if i could convert them to sf2. I got a file, but upon attempting to load I got an error message saying " access violation at address 0797ca4e in module flspro.dll write of address 0400003b". Now from what I can see the module DLL applies to whatever soundfont playing vst you're using. I used the default soundfont player first, and then another to see what works. Error messages all around. Any secrets to converting all this stuff? quick little update...........converting everything individually, one by one, helped.....I made a single patch of an instrument and then converted to sf2. Suddenly it plays. Alas one patch, but now to see if i can bank them together.......... ---- Atonality gives me a boner. |
