Unless Arturia are just bullshitting us to get more hits on their website(which is highly unlikely) then yes, it's free but for one day only which is the 21st of June. If you'd like to pay for it I doubt Arturia would mind |

Sorry, but we don't renew old SPL promotional Attacker plugins. These plugins were given away for "one install", "one machine", "one time". You may go on using the old version, but if you need a new Attacker you are required to purchase one in our online store." This offer was also labeled as "FREE" back then so until we all know what this is exactly plese stop being smart. This is a bad example. Why should they be compelled to offer updates / upgrades for free giveaways?? Kriminal wrote: I still dont get why everyone is talking about copy protection...the product is FREE, why does it need it???
In the past several big companies offered free (limited) versions that included a copy protection software. It's nonsense, but they did it. I guess, if you think about it, there is no point doing something 'free for 1 day only' if there is no way to licence the software to the user that downlaods it on the free day? It will not be a dongle/elicener (they have said that in this thread) but if they have not said theu are making it 'freeware' or even 'shareware', it has to be licenced to the user somehow? (this can even be true with free software instruments on cover disks like computer music) I hope as a result of this a few more people try the SEM V, I personally think its up there with Diva in terms of analogue emulation but it had very little hype. |

What the people who are ongoing nagging about every little detail of this offer just don't get is that, with every post that they make, they make this thread go bigger and more attention is given towards Arturia, so i would guess Arturia can be very happy about this all. |

I'm gonna have to ask my wife to DL it for me. What would be REALLY great is if Arturia allowed it as a free DL from the 21st, not just ON the 21st, but maybe that all has something to do with the Moog deal expiring. I wonder what the next version will be like, gotta assume they will have fancy 0df filters |

I don't see problems of having a free product with a serial/key/something. Anyway, one example could be the Factory Selection for Kontakt Player:
http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/producer/kon takt-5-player/?page=2483 It's free but they send you a serial number to authorize it. |

Really? I think I'm gonna miss the event: I already have plans for that day. Will have to watch it on the news next day, I guess And I hope that this Minimoog V do not expire just because of a f**king end of the world ---- This and that. |
