Hi,
This looks really interesting to me and I would like to get in on the pre-order
price. However, I am on a Mac and was wondering if you have an idea how soon
it would be available after the PC version. I would also be more than happy to
help beta test it for you (I was on the MixControl team) if that would be useful

Hey Scott, I'm not 100% sure about a date for the OSX version, I'm going to need to get through the initial release first and get the PC version to a stable and extended point first. I'll probably just do a separate OSX pre-order when I have more concrete info so that you guys can get the same value though. I have your info from the original MixControl testing, so I'll keep you updated Smile

yes people, take some time,it's a bit of a experiment but a nice one,
there isn't any single cycle creating tool i'm aware of and why should i be interested to know that somebody on this earth write his own tools?
good for him...or not,who cares?

teamdnr is known for working hard,i have no doubt they are creating something usable.
otherwise suggestions are important as well.

btw, i like the kitten thread as long it is keeping up the good mood.Smile

I think this thread needs kittens too. I'm not a cat fan, but cat memes are funny as shit.

based on your lack of programming knowledge, lack of answers and overall future of this tool (which is IMO foggy and far from integration of pro mod options), I decided not to buy it Shrug

Man, this is a public forum... You are selling something (fog for now, as I concluded - just MO, of course) and I have every right to comment and ask, as long as the comments or questions are related to the stuff you're advertising here.
You can't just stop people from asking or commenting. If I want, I can ask. And you may answer, or not. That simple.

Have a nice day. Oh, and I'm sorry to hear about your family overall health (certainly the most important thing in life). Don't know what to say, just be a fighter optimist Wink
And maybe its better to save your money for doctors and medication, not for some software devs Shrug

Speaking as an outsider who's been loosely following this particular discussion: Zorniko, your comments do come across as being pretty rude. It's probably (hopefully?) not your intention, so I thought I'd let you know.

Where's the language barrier smasher when you need it?

Why would anyone have an INTENTION to be rude?
I don't see what's rude here, but if you see it that way, ok.
One can't predict what is rude for some people.
And yes, maybe the language barrier is playing its role here, sorry.

The idea is to create a single application with which to create, edit, import and export to a variety of formats and not need to use multiple applications. I dunno about you guys/gals, but doing so is tedious and time consuming for anyone needing to do so on a regular basis.

Do you really think that people doing this on regular basis haven't got their own tools to automatize this simple tasks?
All those cosmetics are just to easy to program, so they cannot be something that will sold your tool. If you stick only to that story, you'll lose a big part of the market.
sorry, but I have to backup rlhalla massively. I'm a sounddesigmer since decades now, making my living out of this and I can assure you that there is no tool whatsoever, that can do what rlhalla expects waves designer to do. Granted, the majority of users won't be the interested ones as a target, but I for one find it rather cool if someone is passionate about something that had been constantly overlooked. So my props he owns. Just my two daims..as I understand it, it's rather concepted as a sounddesign/developer tool, and as such it's unique. if all fits in its gloves, wichi I hope is happening for rhlalla this is gonna be quite something. and he spemds quite some amount of dedication in a product that will make a lot of ignored target people very happy. Now of course I don't known how its going to end, but I for one wish him best of luck....

That's ok then I guess. You probably did not not know where rlahalla has been coming from (first self diagnosed with cancer and then his father who invested in the company and is/was head of business I think diagnosed with Alzheimer, that's really really sad).. And the fight has to fight every single day, the chances he has to take and the pure devotion he has to give to keep his teamDNR alive and running, with imho great products for awesome prices. Obviously professional music production, design and development is his life and devotion, otherwise he probaby would have turned his back from it a long time ago.

The man is not less than a hero in my book. If one company would deserve respect and trust (because I know for a fact that Reason and of course Steven too would never leave one customer dissatisfied or left behind with empty promises, ever) it would be TeamDNR.

There, I had to get that of my chest.. looking very much forward to this tool. Any ETA on a Beta yet? Will it be public, closed or perhaps for current TeamDNR customers only? Smile

Well taht's just... sigh... Sad
Sorry again, this... was something I really didn't knew.
And I'll help.
But still going to "provoke" them to make something really pro...Wink
Because they can.
If I/we believe.
And again, I'm really sorry for my cold words.

Btw, which version of Delphi you're using? I see that the "suggested formats" list is pretty big; also, various formats are most frequently demanded here, so maybe I can make those codes for you, for free. However, I don't use/have all of the formats, so you (or the people here) must provide me those specific files (via pm). Also, I need to know the basic format of your tool (wav, raw or ... sample length, no of bits, etc.).
Now, I really don't know if these formats are protected by some eula. That's up to you to see.
And, of course, if you don't want this kind of help, I'll completely understand (because I used some very cold words lately).

Hi Reason,
Thanks, I''ll look forward to helping with the OSX version when you have
it ready to go. All the best to you and your family, and I second all that
Nielze had to say as well.

My father had (and died of) Alzheimer's. Trying to care for family members suffering from this terrible disease is exceedingly emotionally and physically draining.

Absolute best wishes and prayers.

on the website it says that pre-orders will get access to beta versions. Would I also get access to beta if I were to subscribe to the developer plan?

well, you're absolutely failing at that. you're provoking them into being frustrated and upset.

I think this application would work very well in my set up here...

And, as someone who is currently undergoing cancer therapy now, I fully appreciate the effort it takes to keep a business going under that type of pressure.

Keep it going!!! Smile
