Diggin'
Ogg Vorbis ft. Bill Ray on drums... this is the 'first time' i've tried using '9th' chords with a 'sharped 9th' or 'minor 3rd'. it's got tse30 for the guitar amp, with bassbomb on bass. i've been diggin' diggin' all day sometimes it seems like i'm diggin' my own grave when i was a young one they said i was free the years and days they pass seems like i'm a slave i've been a diggin' diggin' my whole life long gonna dig until i get to china find a wild thing in chengdu goin' to atlanta try to find that secret santa there's a girl out there she's so dark yet very fair i do declare gonna join the circus maybe then it'll all be worth it diggin' that hole lord have mercy on my soul |

thanks hivkorn!
that last mix had some 'anomalies' on the bass which i've since sought to correct. also, tse30 has been replaced by lepou hybrit. |

wow, thanks!
the '9th chords' are supposed to be 'electric bluesy', like hendrix/roth/vaughn. oh, i was trying to do a 'robin trower thing' on the vocals but it didn't quite work out that way. |

Super riffin' on here mrblitz. I love the chords. They definitely convey some of that Hendrix/SRV vibe. Cool lyrics and another killer solo to boot.
Nice work |

hivkorn, are you saying the guitar has enough 'bass' in it already, that you would remove the bass synth?...
...or, that you would put a highpass on the guitar itself, and get rid of the lower end? thanks! (edit: by the way, your material on bandcamp sounds really good! 'apologies' might be my favorite from the feb 2012 release) |

Very cool. I heard the first mix, and I like the second one much better (I think I saw that there's now a third, is that right?) Seemed like the guitar lost some high harshness for the second one, and that worked better for me. Enjoyable, enjoyed. Thanks. |

hi D.H.... on this latest mix, the main thing is that vocals were re-done.
...and the treble knob on the guitar amp was turned from 0 to just above 0, but hopefully it won't be as piercing/harsh as that first mix... |
