Does Jamstix have drag'n' drop for midi files into DAW?

I haven't used Jamstix 3 in a while as I have been waiting for it to go x64.

I have now tried the new x64 beta in Cubase x64 (very buggy, crashes quite a bit FYI)and can't figure out how to drag midi patterns from it into Cubase.

Just to check, I went back to the x32 version (in Cubase x32) and can't seem to get that to work either.

Is this supported? If so, how do I get it to work?

Cheers

Drag and Drop works fine in 32-bit Reaper. You can either click on the measure you want to drag (in the lower right) or you can click on the part name (like Chorus) and drag it to the DAW.

I'm not using the latest Beta. I'm using the last full release of Jamstix 3.

Thanks jsp. That's what I thought, but it doesn't work for some reason. In x32 I'm also using the last full release. Guess I'll have to wait until the NEXT full release. Very Happy

Drag&drop should work in Jamstix 3.3 32-bit. The 3.5 x64 Beta does not have it at this time. We are working on getting this added, though. Until then, there is 'Export MIDI' for bars, parts and the song.

Ralph-
Thanks for the response. Very glad this is going to x64 shortly. For future betas, it might be a good idea to indicate which major features are not on offer. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong here. My apologies if this was indicated somewhere and I missed it.

I did go back to x32 and found the feature working correctly.

Cheers
