Hey this one sounds great.
Actually reminds me a lot of Patrick O'Hearn. The atmosphere and buildup, is movie soundtrack material imo. Great work. |

Lovely track!
From the beginning, I really like how it fades to "blur" .. my guess that's the result from playing around with the Shimmer plugin. |

Thanks everyone I'm glad you like it! It means a lot to me! 3ee wrote: From the beginning, I really like how it fades to "blur" .. my guess that's the result from playing around with the Shimmer plugin. That's actually ÜberMod with a weird tempo synced reverse reverb echo setting The first chord basically gets repeated over the second one but it's kind of reversed, modulated and blurred. Here is the ÜberMod preset if anyone is interested (I guess I already posted it in the ÜberMod preset thread though): <ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.1" presetName="Reverse Grains" Mix="0.5" Depth="0.5" StereoWidth="0.5" Delay="0" Feedback="0.649999976" Spread="1" Slope="0" Skew="1" Random="0" TapGain="0.5" Diffusion="0.5" DiffSize="0.857142866" DiffModRate="0.14914915" DiffModDepth="0.100000001" LowCut="0.0703517571" HighCut="0.296482414" SpatialXover="0.145728648" DetuneRate="0.2992993" DetuneDepth="0.0500000007" VibratoRate="0.298245609" VibratoDepth="0" OverMod="0" DriveInGain="0.708333313" DriveOutGain="0.291666657" DriveNoiseGain="0" FeedbackRotate="0" SmoothingTime="0.0990990996" ColorMode="1" DelaySync="0.352941185" type="0.291666657" DiffEnable="1" Drive="1" DrivePrePost="1" Speed="1" InputPan="0.125"/> ÜberMod is one of the most amazing plugins I have Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. Nice track. I love the synth patches on here and the way they run into each other. Good FX treatments as well. The atmosphere on this was terrific. It reminded me of TD in the mid '80s
Good work |

Thanks again everyone seismic1 wrote: Good FX treatments as well. 70% of the track are really just FX! Mostly NastyDLA (The lovely new MKII version) with high feedback settings. I'm automating a lot of send levels, feedback amounts, delay filters etc. here I have huge respect for guys who do this stuff live! Tape delays with high feedback can get out of control very quickly! Tricky-Loops wrote: You really don't have a school degree?? You should get a musical-atmosphere-degree, I think... I do have a school degree, not even a bad one. But I didn't went to school _that_ often because I hated it and I was plain dumb. Now these absent days are all over my school certificates and that's far, far worse than a bad school degree these days.

Great atmosphere!
I get images of a big spaceport orbiting Earth with huge leviathans lumbering past each other on their way into interstellar space. Nice! ---- "Be excellent to each other." Dax IX (Music) | Ambient Online Cubase 7, A Few VSTi, Win8 Pro 64, AMD FX-6100, 32GB RAM, 3.25TB total HDD, SSD |
