But why did you remove the sidechain from the compressor?
It's was a really useful feature.

The sidechain filter fixed at ~105 Hz now. The idea was to make compressor as easy as possible. There's was too many knobs.

Anyway it's not the last version. In next version I want to make a bunch of hidden extended parameters including sidechain, multiband and so on. So you can just wait for the next version! Smile

Excellent news. I am surprised to hear that it already had an sidechain filter Smile
This definitely proves that my ears are not as good as I thought Scared
I can hardly wait the new version with the hidden parameters Well Done

Now that you started talking about the coming new features, I thoughtthat
I should make you a small feature request. I promise I don't ask for anything else, but could you please add a hidden switch to divide the compression attack by 100? Prayer

I much prefer GUI 1. Number two is flat and lifeless...but to each his own...... Shrug

Are we voting on the GUIs? I prefer GUI #1 too, but #2 is charming in a minimal way.

I think it looks like GUI 1 was the original product (or perhaps a prototype), GUI 2 looks like a later redesign influenced by Scandinavian design.

If it was a real Hardware product there would be people swearing GUI 1 sounds better. HiHi

They're both awesome, I like the cheapo gui2 one because I can more easily get a grip on the knobs using a mouse.

Does these two versions have any differences soundwise?

Limiter No6 Mac OS X 10.5 issues

Now I can confirm that Limiter №6 Mac version doesn't work on Mac OS X 10.5. The version that was published 26 of june was tested only on 10.7.

I think I solved that problem. If anyone can confirm it works OK, I'll update the version on "downloads" page.

This version should work on Mac OS X 10.5 and latest (32-bit, Intel CPU):
