It's was a really useful feature. The sidechain filter fixed at ~105 Hz now. The idea was to make compressor as easy as possible. There's was too many knobs. Anyway it's not the last version. In next version I want to make a bunch of hidden extended parameters including sidechain, multiband and so on. So you can just wait for the next version! Excellent news. I am surprised to hear that it already had an sidechain filter This definitely proves that my ears are not as good as I thought I can hardly wait the new version with the hidden parameters Now that you started talking about the coming new features, I thoughtthat I should make you a small feature request. I promise I don't ask for anything else, but could you please add a hidden switch to divide the compression attack by 100? |

I much prefer GUI 1. Number two is flat and lifeless...but to each his own...... ---- None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe |

Are we voting on the GUIs? I prefer GUI #1 too, but #2 is charming in a minimal way. ---- ![]() |

GUI#1 for big monitors, powerful CPUs
GUI#2 for small monitors, weak CPUs and also for those who liked alpha version (see also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imprinting_(psychology) "Baby duck syndrome", just kidding |

I think it looks like GUI 1 was the original product (or perhaps a prototype), GUI 2 looks like a later redesign influenced by Scandinavian design.
If it was a real Hardware product there would be people swearing GUI 1 sounds better. |

They're both awesome, I like the cheapo gui2 one because I can more easily get a grip on the knobs using a mouse. |

Limiter No6 Mac OS X 10.5 issues
Now I can confirm that Limiter №6 Mac version doesn't work on Mac OS X 10.5. The version that was published 26 of june was tested only on 10.7. I think I solved that problem. If anyone can confirm it works OK, I'll update the version on "downloads" page. This version should work on Mac OS X 10.5 and latest (32-bit, Intel CPU): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18475891/Limiter6-v1a-gui1.dmg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18475891/Limiter6-v1a-gui2.dmg See also: http://vladgsound.wordpress.com/2012/06/30/limiter-%e2%84%96 6-mac-os-x-10-5-issues/ filter303 wrote: vladg wrote: GUI#1 for big monitors, powerful CPUs
