Hi Everybody,
I think, only additive Synths can do this?
Are there any freebies, which can do this good?

Please....no recommendations of commercial stuff!

I don't know exactly what you are looking for, but maybe PLEX 2?
Is a restructure free synth, it used waves, and you add them to construct new sounds.

Have a good day Smile

In Computer Music Magazine #179 (July 2012) there is a tutorial on how to resynthesize (sort of) a single cycle of a wave using Rhino CM.

The same principle should work with some free additive synths (though I never found a free one I liked).

I think you have to go commercial for a good resynthesizer for now.

Thank you to all....
I forget to mention, I own Rhino, the full version and z3ta+....
maybe Rhino can do this?
What I want with resynthesis is loading a vocal sample and have some Vocoder like effects, but definitly no vocoder sounds.

Why not go grain synthesis? It's a GREAT way to mess with other sounds and change them.

There are some very good grain synths out there. Alchemy is a expensive, but a GREAT one - and then there's these:

There's also some GREAT ones for the iPad that are dirt cheap.

Analyze sample with harmor-demo or take spectrum from praat and then resynthesize snapshots trough Spectrobits (g200kg )..
