Expensive though. Probably will come with cool stuff. I am not that clued up on what DAWS can do, especially LIVE. What is new here if anything?

Regardless of what the actual price is, I'm folding. It's just too hard to play this game. Probably 3 ft from gold, but that's how it goes.

No AU support pretty much settles that for me, unless the price the final price comes in lower than the rumors and the built-ins are awesome.

Whodathunk the plug-in compatibility fiascos would have gotten worse in 2012, not better?

Oh, that would be me! A couple of years ago seemed to be the golden age. Not everything had gone ietc and hardware/software seemed to be on the up. Now, it's very strange times.

EDIT. How incredibly odd that AU support would not be there. Well, not a good thing.

Too expensive. Anything over $200 is too much with Logic being that much. I have logic and am even happy with Cubase Elements which was $99 (since I already have plugins galore). There's no reason any of these should be more than $200 in today's market.

Their FAQ on their site says they won't have AU support, at least not during 1.0. Just a heads up to anyone.

I find the price a bit high as well - if that is the price - for me with Reaper and Audition and Komplete I would prefer / get more out of something like Numerology from five12. But if I had nothing then even at this price Bitwig looks attractive (subject of course to finding out exactly what Bitwig is Smile )

So I guess we need to call it. not BitWig.. but BitHigh.. Laughing

^ that Razz I think that "price" is just a place holder on the site (believe it has been discussed before in a thread that went... errr... predictably pear shaped).

Well, I don't think it's going to lower than 399 USD.

I have a hard time believing that they started this company and all and are going to be all "low price". Still a bit of speculation, but that is just what I think.

You guys, aren't you going to congratulate me for being so good and not posting cat pics?????????????????? Very Happy

(actually, it's not THAT hard because there is actual info flowing in Smile )
