Hey folks. Here is a cover of "The Patient Mental" by Mudvayne, done entirely in MIDI.
http://soundcloud.com/jacob-smith-wichita/the-patient-mental -mudvayne As a drummer who sucks at guitar, I really enjoy having these tools that allow me to make music. Next step is to record some vocals on here; maybe in a few months. I would like to get a Kemper or AxeFX 2 to get some better amp tones as well, but that will have to wait. Comments are most welcome. ---- "On this show your voice will be heard in the form of my voice" - Stephen Colbert |

This rocks. I didn't even realize I was headbangin' until half-way through the song... |

Thank you very much, friend. I've been programming drums and bass parts for awhile so guitar wasn't too much of a new task to learn. BTW I checked out your bandcamp page and I must say that the entire "Extraordinary Renditions" and "the Exception of Enward Jymm" albums are absolutely incredible. I'm honored by your compliments of my feeble attempt at music. Your stuff is brilliant and I will definitely be sharing it on my Facebook right now. If you want to hear some more of my programming and production you can check out my band On Impact (Free EP below). My friend Austin and I programmed the entire album except for the guitars which he played live. http://onimpact.bandcamp.com/ ---- "On this show your voice will be heard in the form of my voice" - Stephen Colbert |
