I too will be purchasing this day one! Any updates? Any chance of a little sneak peak of the device sitting in the reason rack? |

Hi,
Jon did an amazing job in building the Predator RE. We had to battle a few problems because this RE system is different from VST/AU/RTAS. We have to dive into a few more things, like the firm amount of presets we have. I believe it is over 3000 or so... But all going well Rob |

Are you going to add the Arppegiator as it is in the VSTi to the RE? Then Predator RE is already on my shopping list! |

Question: Will we be able to set the polyphony ourselves on Predator? And how big is polyphony? I would love to see at least 48 voices so that we can run with 6 voices unison and still have 8 voices of polyphony. :) ---- Sound Designer | Reason ReFill Producer |

Predator has over 3000 factory presets, so be sure we want them to work in Predator RE as well 3rd party sound bank developers can contact us, so that we can convert their sounds. But a bit early now. Jon Ayres is very working very hard on Predator RE, to make it all work. Due the system of Reason, switching panels are not possible. For example to switch from 'arp' to 'free modulation' that is no possible (yet) in Reason RE. So in Reason RE, more is visual and it is a big synth The 'arp' is visual all the time, as well as the 3 fx blocks, free LFO 1/2, free Env1/2 and mod matrix. Some presets need a bit of rework (modulation amount control). But apart from that is only missing the 'preset morphing' and 'bank mananger'. Development goes very well. We hope July... but you never know 'what pops' up Cheers, Rob I am a bit interested in this development. As I understand it, to make the normal plugin presets work in Predator RE requires some conversion from your part. Will this conversion always be necessary? What I am fishing after here is if you will make the RE version and the normal plugin 100 percent compatible with presets. /C |

Hi there
Yes, there is quite a bit of conversion due to how Reason does things, with presets etc, so it's not a simple conversion matter. So I'm hoping to get out a conversion program which will convert .fxb / .fxp files to the .repatch format used in Reason (the formats are quite different .fxp being binary and .repatch being xml'y type of file). That's a good question, our first version will be one way (because at the moment there is only VST presets) , but later on might be bidirectional.
