I tried to think of a plugin designed to pass midi but i couldn't think of any at the time. Head was empty of juice so to speak edit: nice quote! ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] Last edited by Crackbaby on Tue Jul 17, 2012 10:31 pm; edited 1 time in total |

played a little bit around with the betas, working great so far and have a very little CPU hit too on my system... I don't know, if you can do something about this problem: Some hosts (in my case Zynewave Podium and Novation Automap) don't recognize parameter changes and changes of the parameter name when switching presets... I noticed, that at least the parameter value of the last touched parameter is updated on preset change, but not the name and not any values of the other 15 ones... Don't know, if there are different methods to let a plugin submit changes to the host... in Reaper, FL Studio and Ableton Live, everything works as expected, so I am not sure, if there is something you can improve... About everything else, great work, not a single crash here... ![]() At first thought i don't see what i could do more. Anyway, i'll give MUX Vst in Podium a try. Which version of Podium are you using? |

Yes that's a little UI bug, it says 'none' but in fact it does send events to the VST MIDI out port. That little UI bug is fixed in the next version. |

FL Studio does not support recording midi from one track to another - but MUX will hopefully allow us to bypass that FL STUDIO issue/bug. Regards, James No MUX Vst cannot yet record MIDI itself. And even if it would, then it would not be possible to directly inject the recorded MIDI into the host, the VST system does not support that. Maybe it could be done via a MIDI file export + MIDI file import. That's all options for later since an Event Recorder module is on the wishlist. |

The thong is that Mux doesn't show up as an input for Studio One, Catanya or Kirby for example when active on any track will show up as an input for another. Mux simply is missing, it may have an output but it isn't visible to S1. |

I got phrazor to record catanya on it's sequencer(piano roll) and then was able to drag the midi data onto a project5 track. Also Thesys, Microtonic, Drumcore Free, Bfd Eco have this drag drop midi sequence to piano roll. The MUX Event Recorder module with drag/drop midi should be your benchmark, if possible. The event recorder module also needs a midi file storage / collection feature so multiple recordings can be housed together and accessed as needed much like the MULAB feature Called "Sequence Manager"

Is there a way so i can make mux vst or mulab look in the same folder for the muxpresets i make? Is it in registry i should edit? ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

Yes: Quit MuLab & MUX and open each User/Settings/PreferedFilesAndFolders.txt and make sure each of them says UserLibraryFolderPath=... and there you fill in the folder path of your user library folder. Hope i explained well. |

I tried MUX in Podium and see what you mean. I double-checked things and i think it's on Podium's side. I also think the same issue is also on AutoMap's side, and also in NI Maschine. I'll soon email Zynewave, Novation and NI about this. |

Would it be possible to add buttons in addition to knobs? And if so, add messages for previous/next program/bank? Just messages for programs would be very helpful even if tied to a knob Unless im mistaken, when a mux's output is overloaded you get some pretty nasty (or sweet sounding) distortion. Most plugins i know allows you to go above 0 without that. While i understand the importance of having your decibels under control, is this something that could be looked at? Lastly, when emailing NI .. you do know they're hiring, right..? Especially for Maschine ...... how's your german? ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |
