After I programmed some taiko organs in Kontakt Sampler last year, I thought: There must still be more possible?! I have always tried it out again and again. I like experimenting. Whenever I had a little time, I experimented. ..
Today I present a small selection of my results. Please note: All the sounds you hear I've programmed with a single taiko drum sample. All sounds (besides the drums) I programmed with the same sample. This piece sounds more like a piece from the 80's, but this was my goal, to reproduce well known sounds with only one taiko drum sample. What you hear comes out of the box. I have not used any other effect and not mixed it like I normally do.... . This is Kontakt Sampler 4. out of the box! ( there is only a limiter in the master) Later I will show you some other cool sounds and will upload all instruments, the midifiles and Cubase projects for you, of course for free. Have fun! That's astonishing, the clarity of the sounds is amazing. ---- "What embecile composed this list :/" |

Thanks Dirk.
For those of you who are interested, feel free and download the complete stuff. You get all Kontakt instruments, 2 Kontakt Multi Instruments, the midi-file, the complete Cubase-Project and a read-me-first letter. I programmed all instruments in Kontakt 4, so Kontakt 4 or 5 is required. Link: https://www.box.com/s/7bf79c4032ea1be9bd82 Have fun! Gunther |

Thanks!
I did some other sounds, more modern synth sounds, and I will post asap another demo, a cinematic sounding one. It is so cool what you can get out of only one stupid taiko-drum-sample! |

It has much low end, but what does this have to do with Taiko drums?
Edit: oh, now I realized that you used a Taiko sample!?! Hm ... |
