Crackbaby wrote: But isn't alchemy player SF2 and zampler SFZ? that 2/Z is a big factor here..
Alchemy Player uses SFZ, not SF2. Alchemy Player can load ACP, Wav, Aif, Aiff, and SFZ files. So you can probably get the free Alchemy library and try to load that in Beat Zampler or visa versa, as both uses SFZ files. |

Very cool little Sfz player. I could do a lot with it. I'm thinking about an ambient/pad/atmosphere type of soundbank for it. It would be very interesting to try it out! |

Is anyone even using this? Is there a way to go to next sfz in a folder or do i have to hit the browserbutton every time?
The browserwindow seem to get kicked behind the DAW also, anyone noticed this? If you tried to use this, surely you must have noticed these crippling limitations? ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

Hey Richard, how do I know if I have the most recent Beat Zampler? When was it revised? What were the changes? I had an odd problem that I could bridge it to work in 64 bit Studio One but the native 32 bit itself kept flashing a loading window (rendering it inoperable)in 32 bit Studio One, UNLESS I bridged it. Is that fixed? I suspect the answers to this on on your web-site, but my German is....errrr.....challenged |

Dunno what revision the new on is, but the zipfiles have dates on them. The one i downloaded today doesn't have the bugged browserwindow going behind the daw. Though i can't still find a way to previous/next sfz files. And since there's no banks in sfz ...... Richard, have i missed something?
It's such an awesome tool! ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

Afew questions Beat Magazine. I downloaded some version a day or two ago and it definitely has the window fix (because the original I downloaded was a problem). Does that mean I have the latest version? Also is there a new demo soundbank different than the original, and if so how? Should I keep both? Thx., in advance. |

the file is named *201207 .. while i assume that it's supposed to be 020712, ie that it was updated 12 days ago. If so, you should have the latest version. It says version 1.1 on the download now, not sure it did that a few days ago.
With all the work involved giving this away for free, i really hope they just put in that extra little effort into making it grand! It's an awesome rompler if you just add the waves/sfz's. Maybe Synapse is making one on their own.. Sorry if im whining about this, but no response or recognition, neither by synapse, beat or other users. I would think this was an issue, but maybe it's just me then ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

Out of curiosity Crackbaby have you been able to save and load a bank of presets for Zampler? ---- None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe |

I tried now and it worked. But you must save the FXB with the same name as the folder as the sfz's are in
So if you have a folder with general midi sfz's called GM, then: c:/GM/ <- the sfz you loaded in the fxb that you saved. c:/GM.fxb If it doesn't work you'll see in the error message where it expects the files to be. ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

As I feared. That means for every bank you create you must also create a new folder named the same and place the samples it uses in there. So you'll have duplicate samples in each folder.
