The hostility is about calling them "a new plugin format". Actually, they are just reason racks, made by others rather than by propellerhead. Calling them "plugins" as if they were vst is something misleading. We will NEVER see omnisphere, alchemy, kontakt, reaktor, zebra etc. in RE format, luckely. VST is the standard for plugins, and that is more than enough: unity is what musicians need, not a new so-called "plugin format" every now and then... besides, for what REs offer, they are too expensive.

Ok, no more bitching about Reason. Life is too short for this crap. I'm selling it. Reason exiles, what are you using for sampled instruments? Synths?

People sell stuff all The time. The more product you have out there, the more people will sell their copy... Because more people have it. It just works that way. Selling something doesn't necessarily make it good or bad. It's up to both the seller and the buyer if it's worth it.

Remember: if someone is selling it, that means someone is buying it. So it all works out.

This topic is stupid, there's literally been 6 people selling Reason 6 in the marketplace over the last couple months, you can search yourself

topics get deleted re sales all the time, and they last 30 days once sold. Reason has been selling very fast actually. when i started this topic it was not yesterday it was when there was an influx.. (just as an example, i sold a bunch of stuff and within 30 minutes of me posting please delete on header, it was gone)

you know though there's still been a couple in the last two weeks and yes i do find it a bit out of the ordinary.

That said i am no longer worried in any way and enjoying reason very much thanks

You can't say 'Used sales of Reason are SO high', based on what you're saying. Anyway, I think this thread is over.

i do feel they are high, i did not take just KVR sales into account. Reason 6 has been posted more than any other software for sale, since the update was released. I have since been informed that ableton sales have been even higher. I was surprised but.. ok if that's the case that's the case. Like i said i have followed KVR for over a decade and i rarely see reason on the MP and lately that has changed and I was trying to ask people WHY... The thread has evolved into *much* more than just what my original post said, it goes on to talk about many valid discussions concerning reason and props in general. (mind you, there has been hardly anyone who has actually sold it explaining why they did it which has been a key desire to know since the topic's inception.. so the thread is very much NOT over)
