Pretty sure they are already loaded, I can play straight away and change presets with no lag, and the memory shows over 300MB in Kontakt |

Ah--check in Kontakt's options in the "Load / Import" section to make sure that "Load samples in background" option is enabled. |

Have you tried resaving the patch on your machine? I've heard that resaving can help the loading time. That being said, keep a copy of the old NKI patch, because if you resave the patch in Kontakt 5, it will no longer open in Kontakt 4 (because patches aren't backward compatible). |
