Before the trouble caused by the latest updates in Native (Kontakt, Absynth, FM8, Guitar Rig, Battery 3 ...), I have made no update since the previous versions work well. ---- MacPro & G5 2 X 2,3 GHz, D.P. 7.24 & Kontakt5, MX4 MOTU & Trash _ Gibson ES 295 & Explorer _ FilterBank2 Sherman & PolyEvolver Clavier CamelSpace & CamelPhatt _ Alchemy and Explorer Loïc Le Pape http://www.loiclepapesteelguitars.com/spip.php?article24 |

I am not finding this anywhere in the User Library. Could someone give me an assist here? I have a project that needs a new mix and uses these sounds are right now I am dead in the water. Thanks! Michael |

Which NI bank are you referring to? Make sure you can see the NI banks on the Product Downloads page of your account ... if the regular files don't show up there, that may mean you are logged in to the wrong account (or some other problem).
The files in the User Library are labelled: Biolabs Absynth Sounds Vols 1-3 Absynth 5.1 Biolabs Absynth Sounds Vols 4-6 Absynth 5.1 Starscape Absynth Sounds in Absynth 5.1 Format Peace, Andy. |

This is the issue. I cannot see them on my product download page. I have receipt from purchase. How do we resolve this? Michael |

Michael,
I do not own these, but I believe they are in the User Area, NOT the Product Download section. That is probably why you are not seeing these. I know that's where all the Kore KSDs appear for all of the Alchemy banks I own, so I assume it is probably the same! |

Ben, thanks for the help. If I understand correctly, I am not able to see the .nab files in the User Library because I cannot see the product on the Product Download page. I believe the two are related. The interesting thing is that I can see the purchase in my Order History and the the files used to be on the Product Download page or I would not have them. I am sure they will get this sorted soon. At least I now know what the issue is. Michael |

That would explain why you cannot see them. ChasingAndromeda wrote: I am sure they will get this sorted soon. At least I now know what the issue is.
I'm sure they will too. Regards. |

I was recently missing my Absynth sounds from my user account, too. The CA folks helped me out quickly and painlessly like always. I never regret a single $ I have given them.
Sorry for being off topic - I just needed to praise CA a bit ![]() |

paterpeter wrote: Simon's hint at the NI forums worked indeed: I resaved all patches once with Absynth 5.0.3 and now I could batch convert them. fragmentated seems to have it sorted out already, but in case there's any need I'll gladly send the newly saved ksd files and/or the new converted nabs files to CA.
Edit: I wanted to re-assign the colors to the patches, because all presets have gone white. However, I found that the color (and the rating) is not stored in the .nabs file. That is, if you rebuild the database the color coding and the rating will be reset to white/1 star Anyway, I've moved all bonus presets to the bank 00 Bonus because the original bank names were some cryptic nonsense. At least the presets are now grouped nicely:
Hi all, I just noticed this thread, and I thought I'd ask here because I'm not getting much luck anywhere else (like NI forums). When I imported a bunch of thrid party banks into the Absynth 5.1 format, I get patches showing up spread across many variations of the bank name or just in incorrect banks. Basically they tend to be very disorganized and makes the bank attribute column a bit of a mess. I looks like from the screen shot above that some are able to organize their banks names. Is there a way to change the bank name of many presets at the same time? I'm getting the same problem with fm8 and Massive as well as Absynth. Sorry I know this isn't a camel audio issue at all, but since people here seem to be dealing with the same thing with Absynth presets, I thought I'd ask. You don't actually have to go through hundreds/thousands of presets individually and change each bankname do you? thanks! ---- This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. Yes, unfortunately, you do. Actually I found a way to organize it a little easier. Before exporting ksds to the new maschine compatible format, sort in Kore by folder, then you can modify the bank names of many at once while they are still kid. Then export and they will retain the bankname info in the new format. I haven't found a way to edit the attributes of many files at once in hte new formats, but you can while they are KSDs. ---- This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make.
