A clue about what? The longer ago it was written, the more that supports what I said... Clue : saying 'we intend to do X' two years ago still does not actually preclude abandoning the intention to do X. Quote: Maybe you will try to understand instead of trying to appear knowledgeable.
Says the guy who still can't understand that saying "we're going to do X" two years ago doesnt actually prove that doing Q has anything to do with X, or that it proves anything about whether X ever will be done. Im knowledgeable enough to know you're saying nothing of any merit here. You just don't get it, thick. I'm done. |

Price aside I still wished this is an evolution of previous product rather than billing as a new one. "Different" doesn't mean much if I end up booting up the same one every time.
Hope the second new product isn't a lighter version of B2... I honestly don't see myself using that many reverbs from the same company, plus there's little incentive anyway at current crossgrade pricing (not bad imo, just not particularly enticing either). |

Even a cursory demo of this says: this is not Aether 2.0. You'd have to take stuff out of Aether to get to B2 and, in any case, B2 is clearly aimed at more experimental uses of reverb (although some of those, ironically, tend to make for some very real-sounding spaces).
It's not like other reverbs (except perhaps ValhallaShimmer in some respects when it comes to the feedback paths). I guess you could use it to replace Breeze if you turned off one of the reverb engines but this thing is not exactly easy on the CPU. I haven't compared CPU use between Breeze and B2 yet. |

I thought it sounded pretty good, I can see film composers and ambient musicians getting copies of this.
I already have enough reverbs and effects and I don't really have a need for something like this as I can recreate my own signal chains with what i have already. |

Thanks for pointing that out, if that's true then I stand corrected. Since Aether 2.0 will be an another paid upgrade I'm guessing the price will be more than $150.00 to get it plus B2 for current Aether owners? |

Let's move the B2 discussion to the other thread, where I have all the important info in the first post for new readers...

Wow, good point, I better save my money for Aether 2! You'll have plenty of time. I hear they haven't even started working on it yet. |

What are the demo limitations? The limitations are legion Omfg. That is paranoid stuff. Those demo limitations, greedy pricing, ridiculous transfer fee.. no thanks. Keep your sh*t.. Ugh.
