MUX is taking so much of what frustrates me with Studio One and making it go away Smile It is a great enhancement for me, I doubt I will be building many modular monster synths but definitely being able to build out something in an easy environment when I need it is a huge +. I need to try doing some stuff like modulating MicroTonic parameters with LFOs, that stuff that is possible but not elegant in Studio One has become much more approachable and reusable.

braj, I didn't try the MicroTonic yet!
I'm busy with Zebra in the MUX, but the MicroTonic must be awesome fun. Great idea! Love

Wait, I don't see how to set up an LFO to modulate a VST, HELP!

Add a Parameter Event Generator and connect it to the VST Event Input.
Add a LFO and connet it to the Parameter Event Generator (PEG)
Open the PEG and choose the VSt parameter you want modulate and you're done.
And you can add an ADSR to the LFO, making sure you connect the ADSR to the Event Imput 1 or similar.

Don't forget to check out the Silencio synth in the Instruments menu. It was made by Trancit. Great sound!
Open the editor and then open the Poly Synth. You get an idea what can be made in the MUX to begin with.

I just tried it, i didn't much care for the built-in LFO, at least at first try, but i used the Piz one which is just straight midi vst and it worked nicely, i am used to it and don't know why I didn't just try that before Smile anyhow, I got it going on now and its great Smile All the piz tools seem a perfect fit for MUX.

Instead of the LFO try the Multi-Point Envelope. You'll need to connect it the Event Input 1 to make it work. It is an amazing useful tool.

You can demo it in Mulab Free and not have any sound drop outs or hiss.

How about a voiceover that says 'the demo will time out in 10 minutes' in an ominous robotic alien voice? Smile I think a full-featured demo within Mulab is pretty generous myself. from there you really can get a grip on the app, play with it unrestricted, see how it works with your plugins, and even start creating your own patches and egads! even make a little song if you like!

Tomorrow i think I'll make a front-end for Sampletank with controls where I like them, with an arp and key transposer in front of it. I guess I'll still need to look at the interface to make combis but it should take much of the pain out of tweaking sounds.

It's really annoying, I think the blurb about the demo mentions "hissssing" and not the other......checking now just in case......
