shweet... since it's paypal, and if I have a buck left over, I'm sure to send in one or two for the development of v2.
I hope I'll reincounter the current GUI with v2. I do like it. |

Dunno about that - it might be a complete redesign, but I'll definitely make sure to keep you posted |

Dunno about that - it might be a complete redesign, but I'll definitely make sure to keep you posted i never clicked with either gui the first was a little bit too crayola, and the second felt a little too heavy, extravagant, dominating, claustrophobic somewhere between the two lies a lightweight, breezy, clear interface and some great features (hopefully in eq workflow) but much love for this dude... |

Just a quick heads up, I've left the page up for a few people who said they wanted to grab it but didn't have the money yet. I've also started the re-design, but I can say that it will take me a little longer than I hoped to get a new version out the door. I would say that the new version will probably be available in around 6 months for all current users, but I'll send out a message to everyone who owns it and let them know the status when I've got a working version done. |

Why discontinue a product that will have an update in the future? Weird.... |

I didn't really think of it but that is kind of weird, feel like sharing the reason for that? It's really good, I've been using it in pretty much every project, GREAT stereo tools and the comp is lovely. Saturation is tasteful. This is a good product, why stop selling it? Seems like you could just kinda keep getting money in the meantime - unless you're looking to get a different user base to buy into MixControl 2, but look at how ready your customer base is to buy MixControl 2 anyway, I know if MixControl 2 improves on this already very high quality and extraordinary value product the limiting factor would be how fast I could get my wallet out.
Very few companies let you have the next version for free, it's extremely thoughtful, but given how much effort goes into a new development I don't ever feel like I've been screwed just because the next version isn't free. Maybe have a lower "Upgrade Price," everyone does that, but why stop selling it? It rocks! Of course - at the end of the day - totally your business, and I shouldn't be telling you how to run it, I apologize. ---- My Guitar Software Review Blog - IT LIVES AGAIN! I work for Wampler Pedals. We make stuff for musicians. It's awesome. |
