Hi there ! I bought session strings during the NI sale, but refused the product and sent it back to NI, as i decided to go komplete ultimate. Was a month ago and since then, no news. How long does it takes to get a refund ? Share your experience ! Last edited by budweiser on Fri Aug 17, 2012 3:36 am; edited 1 time in total |

Tricky, I would say your reason for refusal is in doubt. You changed your mind without using the product after purchase. Thats your choice. Its no fault of NI or the product. NI dosnt have to refund you. They may charge you a handling/restocking fee. Would be interested to see other points of view on this. |

Yes, and actually that places it firmly withing the remit of the french equivalent of the UK's Distance Selling Regulations... as per in the UK, he has the right to refuse it, from the date of purchase through to 7 days after the date of delivery, as long as its not been opened. No reason for refusal is required. Quote: Thats your choice. Its no fault of NI or the product. NI dosnt have to refund you.
yes they do. Quote: They may charge you a handling/restocking fee.
No they may not. If the item was delivered, they may however charge return postage, but not delivery postage. NI should have to refund him within 30 days of him informing them of the return of goods. budweiser; did you get in touch with them, stating that you no longer wanted the item, and requesting refund? |

I refused the product because i decided to go ultimate during the sale... and i was told to refuse the product by a guy from the NI team. By the way, i think what's tricky is to lauch the 50 % off on full products BEFORE the 50% off on updates / crossgrades without a heads up for the consumer base... I personaly bought 5 products during the sale and sold all of them. |

but the question was have you been in touch with them, usually for a refund you need an RA number, just refusing it doesn't mean they are going to do anything more than try to find a way to get it to the right place. Having "a guy" tell you to refuse it is not enough, it's probably sitting in a mail room somewhere while they wait to hear from you. They wont refund the money until you ask them to, they might send it again though...just my P.O.V., I think you should contact them asap ---- I never learned anything from being right Hink 2012 RIP Reason L. and Ian B |
