I was thinking about just running it through my fave default chain in T-Racks. That EQP-1A will be nice on here I think. Should only take 10 minutes to master (and about 30 minutes to upload) How do we upload it? Do I just put it on my own SoundCloud and share to the group? Is Geoff cool with this being downloadable? Its fine as long as you agree to the rules, mainly the one about copyright. It's Geoff's track plain and simple and no body gains any rights over it whatsoever. Also on soundcloud please title it as Bluffmunkeys track. Upload it and join the group, KVR Mastering challenge. Then you will be able to share it. good luck. ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |

This uses one of the default chains in T-Racks3. No M/S processing on here. I thought it might be a good idea to show what an out-of-the-box solution could do. With tweaking, I'm sure it could be a lot better. This ain't gonna win in the loudness wars fo' sho', but the EQP-1A imparts a subtle warmth that I love. Here is the chain:- ![]() |

I'm deliberately not partaking in this thread for a couple of days until the entries are all in as I don't want' to be coloured with favourites just yet.
I don't mind if people want to upload them to wherever, as long as it says Bluffmunkey on there somewhere Sunday night is looking good for me to sit down and have a proper listen! |

I master all my own unreleased stuff. Although I use the term mastered very loosely |

http://www.blacklistedmastering.co.uk/article01.htm There articles look very helpful Aiynzahev.Liked the text about creative compression there. I would like to take this opportunity to ask for some good texts about masterization. Someone? |

THanks I thought we might wait till the deadline, the 25th. After that we can exhaust ourselves with all the entries and find our favourates. The point then will be to find out from our favourate versions what was done and how, so we learn more. Geoff will choose his favourate as well. And that person who wins will get a well done icon, like this one: Or a meme, like this one: http://qkme.me/3qfsko ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |

Question: I gave feedback to one participant and he then changed his version and entered again (with the new version). is this even allowed? Can i upload as many better versions, as i wish? ---- Hello. Is it you I'm looking for? |

[loud thinking mode]
as it is a just for the fun of it and learn a bit more contest and at the start there was the idea of 3 possible entries for different loudness levels and even the contest rules seem to be subject of changes I think it is no problem to enter, withdraw, re-enter,and add multiple entries [/loud thinking mode] but Aiynzahev maybe should answer this question, as he started everything |
