Good day!

My name is Gregory Scott, I'm a partner and product designer/developer for Kush Audio (www.kushaudio.com). Earlier this year we released our first plugin, the UBK-1, and with several more in the pipeline we've reached a place where we'd love more gifted people to partner with.

What we could use your help with is porting of existing code to the standard 32 AU/VST/RTAS & 64 bit AU/VST formats; we have a developer doing AAX work for us so that's covered. We would also like your help implementing copy protection; currently we're using PACE Interlok but Fusion is an open question and we're not married to PACE so there's a conversation to be had there, ranging from implementing something simple but robust enough to keep honest people honest, to developing a proprietary cloud-based auth system that, if it's worthy, could be licensed to other developers.

As for the plugins, we have everything from raw dsp that needs to be streamlined and glued to the GUI, to completely functional VST's that simply need to be ported and protected. I develop the GUI's including 3D modeling and image stacks so that aspect is covered.

Regarding the bottom line: Kush is 3 years old, has a 4-year product release roadmap, a mature cash flow, and we have outstanding credit with a reputation for paying bills ahead of time and at highly competitive rates. We like to work with people who are not only talented but also just plain nice, and we fancy that we're a very low-stress, highly creative, eminently enjoyable group of adults ourselves. We have no interest in drama and do our best to have a blast doing this thing we're all so passionate about and making amazing products that unlock and foster people's inherent creativity, and in the process everyone gets well-compensated.

If any of this speaks to you, please hit me up at g-r-e-g-AT-k-u-s-h-a-u-d-i-o-DOT-c-o-m. Resumés, tall tales, aspirations, whatever... if you think you're a good match for what we're trying to create, I'd love to hear what you have to say. And the sooner you're available to get busy, the better.

Thanks much,

Gregory Scott

LicenseCard is low cost solution to protect your application that can be used with or independent of the Safe Activation server. See www.excelsoftware.com/licensecard

On purchase, you send the customer a graphic LicenseCard image that contains their name, phone number, email or other personal information embedded in the image. They drag and drop that image onto your application to activate it on any computer, but are unlikely to distribute that image with their personal info to other people.

The "LicenseCard" video on the "SoftwareLicenseVideos" index should be helpful.
