^^^^ yep, I missed that we were talking about the easy page. They're just macro controls for other envelopes, you would indeed need to apply those changes before saving. The sliders reset then, but their values are reflected in the other envelopes (from the operators). |

You definitely need to use "Save as" for factory content- the factory location's write protected. ew Yeah but it's nothing to do with that. It seems to be just the easy page and XY, whatever position the knobs and sliders are in they reset to 0 as soon as I hit save. And they also do this in some programmes if you automate those params (as you can see from the reaper forum thread) I confirm that with Reaper; this is a long standing bug never addressed |

Sounds like it's a feature not a bug as such but its behaviour is certainly counter intuitive and definitely has a detrimental effect when automated in hosts like reaper and Cubase. ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |

messes up saving variations in Kore as well I ran into that long ago. Your best change to save a Kore variation in FM8 is by doing it once. It you save variation B and then go to C and save as variation C, it's no longer variation C. ---- iMac core2duo | 2.4Ghz | 4GB RAM | OSX 10.6.8 | Logic 9.1.6 | Komplete 7 | Kore 2.14 | Vienna Ensemble Pro 5.09 | Nomad Factory ISP | Mackie Onyx 1220/firewire interface |
