Well Vojtech, i feel bad for dropping more stuff on your plate when you've already done so much work and implemented a lot of suggestions... but it seems the new layout in the midi settings opens up more possibilities.

- In midi controllers, values > max values, Right click on max values make them go to zero by default, i believe they should go to 100% by default ?

- Feature request : Number of CC available increased to 32 (in MXXX you have 16 multiparameters and 16 mod lines so i believe it makes sense)

- Feature request : preset increment/decrement controllable via MIDI CC or MIDI note !
This can be very important if you want to integrate MXXX in a setup where you have a preset for each song for example and you change preset via a midi controller.
Like other people have asked before, it would be more efficient to see the name of the active preset directly on the GUI (there's room at the top on next to « MXXX »), but i guess that's not the most important thing. Very Happy

Thanks for taking this into consideration.

Yes I agree with these requests you've made, and I hope you don't mind if I add another to your thread, regarding midi settings.

Would it be possible please, to make the midi settings modulatable, including each controllers enable button. Amongst other things, this would be useful for setting up multiparameters to control them, for easy access.

Thanks very much Smile

Yeah sure, kill me! Very Happy Very Happy

1) MIDI controller max value - true!

2) Number of CCs - ok, it's more like a matter of performance, but why the hell not I guess.

3) You mean the true presets, not A-H, right? Well, I'll check but this one is a little harder to do. But should work I guess. Though, how would the controller work? I mean the number of presets is unlimited and controllers simply have values 0-1, while notes go to 1 and back to 0 essentially. Seems to me like a special "parameters" - next preset and previous presets, where if the parameter goes from 0 to 1 (or just from below 0.5 to above 0.5) the action is performed. Makes sense?

4) Modulatable MIDI settings - yes, ok, should work. Note that from that moment the number of controllers and note controllers will have to be constant.

Yes the true presets.
The addition of "next preset" and "previous preset" in the midi parameter list is exactly what i had in mind, totally makes sense. Smile

Idea : maybe you could add a special preset folder and the midi next and previous preset switching will only cycle though the presets inside that special folder. For example you have all the "factory" MXXX pesets, and maybe you built 20 "user" presets, but you only need three presets in the session and you want to change between them easily...
So you can put only those 3 presets in the special midi preset folder And then with the next and previous preset switches it is very fast to select one of those three presets instead of going through all the big preset list.

Ok, done Wink. But not the special folder, it works in folders, so if you need it to browse a folder, just select the first preset there Wink.

Marvellous, thanks very much.

Does this mean that if you put the amount of controllers up to 32, and then made them modulatable, you wouldn't be able to increase this number in the future? If so, I have no problem with that. Smile
