My computer room is neutral. I d have a double bed in there but it's just mattresses and a comforter thrown over. It's really ugly. I never have guests.......I should just get rid of it. But the cats like it Shrug

I also have a den but it can't have a ceiling fan and it's a really weird shaped room so I just keep a shitty looking desk in there. I never use it Laughing I use the dinning room table for bills and such HiHi

I hate this house. Literally the worst investment I ever made. I should just bulldoze it and start over! Surprised

I think the only two plugins that are actually synths that I would like are Zebra2 and Alchemy. Anything else I want in the way of plugins is non-synth.

I love both of them. I sold Alchemy to buy Zebra2. Then I bought Alchemy again and then I had to sell Zebra in order to buy my Komplete 8 Crossgrade.

I'm just trying to get everything together to buy Zebra2 once more, then I won't sell it again as I'll have everything I need. Thumbs Up!

Sometimes I use synths, sometimes I don't. I like to experiment a lot with music so I might not play any for months while I play other instruments. They're just easy as I don't have to set up any mics. Smile

I need to get off my lazy ass and set up my garage to be a studio already. I keep telling myself, "next week I'll put up the insulation and then I'll start hanging drywall!"
...but considering various health issues, that probably won't happen in the near future. Aaaargghhh
I just need to get my big computer and an audio interface setup so I can actually record some stuff. Brit will probably be happy to see my modular leave the living room. HiHi

regarding synths, as much as I love Zebra and Alchemy and Aalto and the synths in Komplete... I keep finding myself gravitating toward Bazille and my V-Synth. Those two synths are kinda limited in some ways (when compared to Zebra or Alchemy or Reaktor) but they just click for me.

Oh hey if we're talking about studio space, hell no, I'm not happy. Third floor. Summer hellhole. Noise through walls from neighbors. Noise through foundation from neighbors' housework and fat asses walking around and booming cars and farting motorcycles. Noise through closed windows of people and traffic and everything. Row houses suck. Especially the 100+year old places that have zero sound proofing between dwellings. Shared walls and foundations are horrific. I hate this place.

Will you be recording the room, acoustic instruments, or vocals?

With Sonar Producter and NI Komplete 8 Ultimate I don't need anything. Thing is, I enjoy synths. Sitting down with a new VSTi is like going on a mini vacation. I have all I need, but will never have all I want.

I have Zebra2 again. Thumbs Up!

I realized that for now I can live with Alchemy Player, so I sold Alchemy, though eventually I'll be back with the full version.

I think I have all the instruments I need.

Now to start on effects. HiHi

Haven't had much time to play of late and still have to set up the new PC with all the software I have.

Starting to get a little better at playing trumpet though, so next step might be to think about getting one that's better quality, or investigating different mouthpieces or get some mutes.
