Don't know if this have been suggested already but how about some wave shaping features a'la Z3TA? That would be useful for quickly distorting/shaping any waveform.

Also, don't know if that's been suggested but support for 128 samples or similar. Support to export for Dave Smith Instruments Evolver perhaps?

Here is a waveform recreated in Wave Designer based on a sample Soniccouture Novachord using only the raw waveform and the LP filter:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/Novachord-Saw1.zip

The format is 2048 samples, Mono, 16-bit and 44.1 kHz.

It has actually been suggested, and I've already bought the synth and taken a look at the features, which I've noted and researched a bit Smile I can't say if and when they'll be introduced, but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to adding such shaping features.

Custom wave lengths is already a supported export features. On the "export" tab, you can choose between a standard 2048 sample waveform or a "custom" waveform, allowing you to choose any sample length you desire Smile

I didn't even know that Pentagon supported single-cycle waveforms. I'll have a look into it Smile

Wicked cool Ingo! So, I'm assuming this tool has been pretty useful for making new waveforms for yer soundsets, eh? Very Happy Yay!

I don't recall if there is or will be a facility to *stitch* together single-cycles (any length) into custom wavetables for specific synths, e.g VAZ modular, ConcreteFX Kubik, et al.

There will be at some point. I'm planning on having a morphing utility for longer, drawn out waveforms as well as a wavetable creation utility. I haven't yet figured out how they will all work within the interface, but they're definitely planned Smile

Hi,

that specific waveform was used for an experiment to recreate the Novachord synth engine inside Mutools MUX. More details including screenshots and download here:

It's really cool indeed and you could use other plugins as modules too.
I have used it to do layers and add effects with TAl U-NO-LX.

Yeah, I think I might actually pick it up now, I've been looking at it a bit over the past few hours Smile
