Wow.. excellent suggestion.. especially since z3ta 2 is not included in X2. I may go this route. It makes it look like worth the upgrade. If X2 makes me cry then at least z3ta 2 will bring a smile, well balanced |

I guess it's from the newly released X2 teaser video. The dark module is the new Reverb. Watch it here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu-darm8Bgk&feature=youtu.be Video is good but it does not reveal much of the new features. They have started a sneak peak series on their blog for the new features. You can read about Smart Grid and ProChannel FX Chains for now. I am looking forward to this upgrade. Looks great but time will tell how solid it is. |

Quad Curve, those comps, and the console emulator.. + your favorite vst effects + everything drags and drops on the ProChannel + everything drags and drops inside an FX Chain... these are going to be interesting for sure....
yeah, that is the new reverb. ---- Barry The man who survived mustard gas and pepper spray is now a seasoned veteran http://www.ambientonline.org/ |

I hate any type of teaser video, it brings the curiosity level so high that it's becomes unbearable to wait until the release. |

Just so you know you can close the ProChannel strip by just clicking a small arrow, after that it becomes like any mixer view. I know you know that already. You are a very happy Sonar user I don't like the gradients on fader levels. I hope they keep the option to change back to the current one. |

You know, I thought the ProChannel was pretty useful when it first came out. A compressor, EQ, and saturation on every channel, right at your fingertips.
Now you have a whole bunch of different plugins to choose from, add, rearrange, and package into FX chains. You can also buy additional plugins. Is it just me, or is this starting to sound more and more like the VST effect bin that we already had? ---- Incomplete list of my gear: Microsoft Windows XP |

Also, seriously... is there no one at Cakewalk who sees the value in a modular signal routing system, such as those found in energyXT, Bidule, etc.? ---- Incomplete list of my gear: Microsoft Windows XP |
