Urs, you do have a point, tho I think myself and pdxindy do too Smile NI make decent gear that's for sure, that through various clever strategies has become near ubiquitous...however.

For those who want to dig a little deeper, companies like U-he, Camel, D16 and Fab Filter are where it's at if you want cutting edge, quality development in your vst gear. Recognition can take time, but as this list shows... it is coming and deservedly so Smile

Hehehe, look, as I said, I don't have a problem with those top 10. We got 4 awards, that's more than any other company.

For a 5-person business we have had more recognition and popularity than we could actually handle this year. Hence we're quite happy to withdraw ourselves a bit from the global hype engine and work on new things.

That's the best thing. Awesome company. I can't imagine that you can get help with an issue from the main man with the other products out there. This here forum is great as well. Lots of smart folks. Interesting music, patches, etc.

For me, the name was part of the reason I didn't pick up on Zebra right away. I looked around...Alchemy-ooo, Massive-mmm, Omnisphere-OK, Zebra-whatever. Then I stumbled across something about Mr. Zimmer. Gave Zebra a try. How fortunate. Got my hands full with this beast, but still looking forward to Zebra3, and MFM is looking mighty tasty.

I dont have an actual problem with it either. Im sure its clear to everyone Im just having fun and like lavishing praise on U-he.
Now that you have mentioned it, I admit I have wondered how your small team will be able to handle becoming sort of the defacto standard of quality in both service and design. You guys seem to be at a critical juncture now, where you can either blow up and dominate and lose the family vibe or stay true to the original mission and not be able to make stuff fast enough to keep the masses at bay. Or option x. Watching how you guys operate though, it seems you will make the right moves and hit the balance you want.

TBH I can almost tell a Massive made track just from the sounds... it's quite distinctive especially when used in that particular way.

Very much this, I can pick out Massive's dimension expander and formant waveforms in an instant.

And then of course there's the modern talking wavetable, although I don't know how many of you here would be familiar with that controversy.
