This is especially intended for new members, but some older ones might gain by reading it too.
If you're posting an entry in Ableton's Beat The Clock competition, or any other contest, be advised that it is impolite to add your entry to someone else's thread. It's Kanye-level rudeness, and will probably do more to turn off KVR members than to earn you positive attention. It might get your post split into its own thread, but it also might get the post deleted and you banned. Depends how you play it and how we moderators feel at the moment. This has happened twice that I noticed. Please don't let it happen again, okay? Just start a new thread here in Music Cafe and don't bump it too frequently. Good luck, play fair, and consume more Bovril. |

All right, my deepest apologies, I didn't meant to be rude... |

Hi Meffy, hope all is well with you, since I'm new to this forum I was wondering where we can take part in the Ableton's beat contest you have mentioned? |

Thank you whyterrabyte, it is so finished now. it was from may 14-28, so why the post is still on top? shouldn't the posts on top be something on the move at the moment? I'm asking this cuz I'm not pretty well educated about the working process of this forum. thanks a whole lot. |

You can't really accuse someone of thread necromancy when the thread is pinned to the top of the forum. |
