You mean because of sugar? They have a sugar-free version that I drink. :help:

I thought the entire reason behind the stuff was the sugar + caffeine.. :? :?

If I want that much caffeine I'll do a triple-shot espresso.. :-o :-o :-o

Caffeine, yes, sugar, not for me. It works better to wake me up quickly than just taking a caffeine pill because it has additional alertness ingredients, so lately, since I'm not taking a nap every morning anymore, I drink a Sugar-Free Red Bull every morning.

A couple of days ago was the first time I took that stuff and didn't pucker my whole face. Of course, I let it sit out overnight before I drank it instead of artificially warming it up under hot water, so it was a little more "stable" than when I normally drink it. I can't drink it cold at all.

I was back in the UK in Sept/Oct and at a nephew's wedding, all the young'uns were drinking Jeiger bombs - Jeigermeister and redbull. TBH I just didn't see the point - gimme Jeigermeister and avoid that Redbull sh*te. I'm with woolyloach - if I want caffeine I'd rather have a decent coffe. Mind you, we get really good coffee over here, and have to say that the UK is still lagging way way behind in the coffee stakes. Which would partly explain why Redbull has got so popular.

I'd rather have something a bit classier. A good affogato (quality espresso + ice cream + liqueur) with a shot of Drambuie or Frangelico etc. Gives you everything a Redbull can but actually tastes nice instead.

Also have just discovered the joys of Creme de Cacao, Chambord and Cointreau (a perfect match I reckon - chocolate, raspberry and orange). An extra shot of vodka is optional. I haven't quite yet figured out what soft mixer to put in there yet though...

Oh yeah, I has just eaten a fennel/pork sausage cassoulet frozen left overs from last week. I pity my co-workers later (lots of beans in this one)
